| 1 | cup | Basil Leaves (fresh) |
| 2 | clove | garlic |
| 3 | tbsp | olive oil |
| 0.25 | cup | parmesan cheese |
| 2 | tbsp | pine nuts |
| 0.45 | lb | penne |
Cook penne according to package.
Blend ingredients until smooth, and serve with pasta/gnocchi/etc.
Remember to set aside some penne without pesto for those with pine nut allergies. AND remember to cook some gluten free pasta for Katie.
